PLACE stands for Partnership, Learning, Access, Community, and Equity — and those five words guide everything we do.

We're an early learning center in Elgin, Illinois, where children learn through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships with teachers who are valued and supported. We accept CCAP, and every family is welcome regardless of income.

Our funding model blends family tuition, public subsidy, and community partnership so that fair compensation and affordable care work together instead of against each other. Families get the quality their children deserve. Teachers get the respect they've always earned. When adults are well-supported, children thrive — it's that simple.

PLACE was designed to be replicable. We believe every community deserves a model like this, and we're building ours to show what's possible. If it works here, it can work anywhere — and we'd love to help make that happen.

Welcome to PLACE. We're so glad you're here.

Our Pilot Approach

PLACE Early Learning is a pilot for affordable, sustainable early childhood education. We actively collect data and share logic models with partners to help them achieve similar affordability and accessibility in their communities.
